11 Weeks

Yep, time is flying out here on the Prairie, I'm one week shy of 3 months! My little Hope Baby is the size of a lime! I am feeling better every day. I can tell that the morning sickness is starting to subside, and I'm feeling less sick in the evenings too. I don't have a lot of energy and I'm having a hard time keeping up with these crazy kiddos! I'm heading to Humble today to find some pregnancy workout videos, yoga or pilates. I'm hoping this will help with my weight and energy levels. I have another ultrasound in a week and I can't wait to see our little baby again!

Things have been pretty crazy around here the past few weeks, Harleigh got really sick with RSV, and not long after, Josh got viral meningitis. Thank goodness Harleigh was better by the time Josh got sick. He was in the hospital for 5 days, and he has now made a full recovery! Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. Trey and I have somehow managed to stay healthy through it all! I am very thankful for that, and thankful that we are past it. Today will be a busy day for us, the kids have Mother's Day Out and then Harleigh has dance from 4-5 and t-ball from 5-6. I'm officially a chauffeur! I'll post pics tomorrow.

"Hope"

Josh and I are very happy to announce that I'm pregnant! I am due on September 16th, 2010. I will be 10 weeks tomorrow. My little baby is the size of a prune! I have been to the doctor three times and had three ultrasounds. At my first appointment, they couldn't see the baby on the ultrasound so I went back the following week and there he/she was! It turns out I wasn't far enough along the first time to see the baby yet. I was 3-4 weeks and the baby was the size of a poppyseed! When I went back for my two month check-up, the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler, so I went for another ultrasound! And there he/she was again! Much bigger than the last time and just a wiggling around. I was 9 weeks and the baby was the size of a green olive! Needless to say, I cried like a baby when I heard the heartbeat! It has been a pretty emotional couple of months. I am so excited to have this little life growing inside of me and I can't help but get excited for what is to come. But it is also very difficult. It is not at all a replacement for Maeson. He is very much a part of our lives and will continue to be. We miss him very much and I think about him and long for him always. I am very nervous about this pregnancy, but I also have a good feeling about it at the same time. My emotions are a wreck right now. I have another ultrasound at my 3 month appointment in March. My doctor wants to do some extensive tests on the baby. This puts me at ease. I know that God's Will will be done with this baby, but I hope that the extra precations we are taking will somehow help. I find myself saying that a lot. "Hope". I am hoping to make it to that 20 week ultrasound, you know, the big one, where they tell you everything is okay. I am hoping for a healthy baby. I hope to be able to enjoy this pregnancy and leave it up to God. This is our "Hope Baby" and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Sunday Funday!

I am spending this beautiful Sunday afternoon with my Little Man! Harleigh and Daddy went hog hunting with Uncle Pickle, and Trey stayed at home with his Momma. We have had a fun day so far, I got beat at Gator Golf, played "Tiger", and cars. He is now laying down for a nap so I better use this time to catch up on stuff around the house!

I'm such a lucky Momma!

Stop Knocking...

I heard your tires on the gravel as you pulled into the driveway, but I rushed to my room and told the kids to hush! I don't feel like entertaining right now.

I see you from the window, but I'm pretending I'm not home. Because my house is littered with toys, laundry and dishes.

I hear your knocks, but I won't be coming to the door today. My hair is a mess.

So is my house, and laundry, and dishes, and Harleigh's hair, and Trey's diaper.

SO... If you aren't here to clean, do laundry, dishes, fix a ponytail, change a diaper, or watch my kids while I shower... Stop Knocking!

It's just been that kind of day. That kind of nine-months-since-my-baby-died day!

Moo... Look Who's Two!

Yep, you guessed it! This sweet Little Man turned two on December 28th, and he had the best Birthday of all time, (if I must say so myself, ha!) It all began on this old tractor where I took the pictures for his cuter than cute invitations. They turned out perfect, I love my "invitation girl!" On the night of his birthday, we met my Mom at Chuck E. Cheese to have a little b-day dinner, it's a tradition for us to go out on the actual day.

I didn't get any pictures worth sharing at Chuck E. Cheese, so we will just skip straight to the good stuff...
Like this AMAZING cake! It is exactly what I wanted and it fit perfectly with my "barnyard/cowboy theme". (I couldn't make up my mind, so I mixed them! ha!) Okay, so I love my "cake girl" too! This was my 6th Birthday party and I have finally found some help that I am totally ecstatic about! Anyways, back to the party! Josh keeps telling me that we really outdid ourselves this time and that we should just quit while we are ahead. Surely he knows me better than that! :)

The Pony Rides were a huge hit, the Birthday Boy did not want to get off! Another thing he was not interested in doing was parting with that RED ringpop. (thanks a lot Mimi!)

We had an awesome day full of barnyard animals, tons of good company, and beautiful weather! Who could ask for anything more?

Four Christmases

No, I'm not referring the comedy starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaugn! I am referring to the amount of Christmas celebrations these two attended in one week!

I love black and white, it makes them look so sweet and innocent! ha!

Christmas with Mimi and Moose was a blast! Here are all of the kids on front of the tree. Anna was sick so she stayed home with her Mommy. We missed her so much! My Mom and Step-Dad always go all out on Christmas and they really outdid themselves this year. The kids got so many cool gifts, and we all had a great time visiting and stuffing ourselves with good holiday foods!

This is Christmas Morning. Trey got a fishing pole from Santa and Harleigh got a bb gun. We had a nice, relaxing morning at home. It was just Josh and I and the kids. We had fun taking our time and enjoying watching the kids open and play with their presents.

Harleigh was super excited about her Dora Mermaid!

After spending the morning at home with our little family, we headed over to Josh's parents to celebrate! We took Harleigh's gun and Daddy helped her shoot it and work on gun safety. We had a lot of fun with Josh's parents, sisters, and Aunts.

On Saturday we went to Nana and PawPaw's. The kids just loved their Zhu Zhu pets. They each got two, and tons of accessories! I think their favorite gift were the books that Nana picked up at The Book Fair. They just love to read!

We had such a great Christmas and we are so blessed to have such large families to enjoy the holidays with. Our kids are really spoiled, and we love it!
