Gender Reveal Party!
We had our "Gender Reveal Party" last night and it was so much fun! I went to the doctor on Thursday and had the ultrasound technician call my "cake girl" and tell her the sex of our baby. Then she made a cake that was either pink or blue in the center and we met for dinner Saturday night with family and friends to cut the cake. It was so hard waiting for 2 days, but definitely worth it. It was so exciting sharing the news with everyone at the same time! The cake was beautiful and my Mom made little tags so everyone could pick whether they thought it was a girl or a boy. Harleigh and I were on "Team Lakyn" and Josh and Trey were on "Team Cain".
Mommy, Daddy, Big Brother & Big Sister!
Or a Cain Joshua?
Waiting to see if "Our Little Gift From God" is a girl or a boy...
We are so excited about our little girl on the way. Funny how God knows just what you need!
Lakyn's First of many tutu's, I'm sure!
The party was so awesome! It was really special for Josh and me to have all of our family and friends there who have stood by us through so much! The past year has been really hard, and we are so thankful for all of your love and support. I am so excited about preparing for Lakyn's arrival and seeing what our future holds! :)
"Hope" is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul. And sings the tune without words, and never stops- at all.

5 Months

Today was my 20 week appointment, we're halfway there! My Mom and Josh's Mom went with me to the ultrasound. The baby has a big round head and a button nose, just like all my babies! It was sucking it's thumb off and on thoughout the ultrasound, so sweet! I don't have digital pictures of the baby, so a picture of my belly will have to do!
Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 20 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 4 pounds (yep, finally catching up with me!)
Maternity Clothes: Still loving my Bella Band!
Gender: We don't know!
Name: Lakyn Hope or Cain Joshua
Movement: I have been feeling movement off and on throughout the day and a lot in the evenings.
Food Craving: I am eating a lot of Subway lately
What I miss: My clothes! I am outgrowing everything!
Sleep: I sleep good until I get up to go to the bathroom, and then I'm pretty much tossing and turning after that.
What I am looking forward to: Finding out the sex of the baby with all of our family and friends!
Symptoms: I'm feeling great!
Big Sister & Big Brother: If you ask Trey if he want's a boy or a girl, he says "BOY!" everytime! Harleigh says, "I want a boy so I can be the only girl!" and "If it's a girl, she can have everything purple, cause pink is my favorite color!" (uh-oh!)

Busy Girl!
Last Thursday was a busy day for Little Miss Harleigh True! Her Mother's Day Out was taking a Field Trip to Old MacDonald's Farm. Then she had Tap/Ballet from 4-5 and a T-ball game at 5:30! And to top it all off... when we get to the Field Trip, the other Mom's were asking me if we were going to Kindergarten Round Up! I wasn't aware of Kindergarten Round Up, and I couldn't believe it was on the busiest day ever! So we decided to skip dance and go see Harleigh's new school! Here is a recap of our crazy day...
The Field Trip was really fun! I got to Chaperone Harleigh and her good friend Lillian. We saw tons of farm animals, played in a haystack and a sand hill, rode ponies, and played on all three playgrounds. The girls had so much fun, and ran me all over that place! I am so blessed to be able to stay at home and do fun things with my kids! Harleigh's favorite things were the sand hill and the deer. They were so tame!

After the Field Trip we headed to the Church and picked up Trey and rushed home to get ready for Kindergarten Round Up. Harleigh got to tour the school and meet all the teachers. She hasn't stopped talking about how she got to meet the PE Coach and ride a real yellow school bus! Here is a picture I took before we left the house. She is such a big girl!
We left the school and drove across the street to the t-ball game. I had to get our little all star dressed in the car! I think we need to invest in a tour bus, ha! She played really well and I, of course, didn't take any pictures! Closing Day is Saturday so I will be sure sure to get some pictures of her and her trophy!

Easter 2010
We had a really fun Easter this year! The kids had their party at The Church and it went very smoothly. I was so worried about having to miss one of their parties/egg hunts, but it worked out perfectly. I was able to go to each of their classes for lunch and see them both hunt eggs. Harleigh's class was so funny! The ran so fast after the eggs and all of the girls were fighting over the pink eggs, it was hilarious!
Trey's class made these adorable bunny hats. Aren't they cute?!? Poor guy, I always want the kids to match on the holidays and he usually gets stuck wearing pink! His egg hunt was adorable! The two year olds were just getting the hang of it. They walked around and Trey kept showing me his eggs before he put them in his basket. They were also helping each other fill their baskets. Totally different story from the Fours!
And here they are in their personalized Easter shirts. They only got to wear them once because I got long sleeves and it was warm around Easter this year. The last two years it was cool. Dang Texas weather!
