Random trip to the park

The same day as the Easter parties, yes, the crazy day where I was pulled in every direction!?! Lol! To top it all off, Trey had a game that night. Well, he was supposed to have a game, but we got to the field and realized it had been cancelled! Josh's parent's were already on their way so we decided to meet for dinner instead. Josh was working out of town, story of my life! lol!

The kids were terrible at dinner, I was so embarrassed! It's really hard when Josh is out of town. My patience wears very thin at times. So, when Nan and Poppa wanted to go to the park after dinner, I was less than thrilled. ha! But we went anyways, and I'm SO glad we did!

The 3 amigos on the slide! They had so much fun and the boys were cracking me up with those Monster Trucks. They were pushing them down the slide and putting them on the swings. They are so funny!

Lakyn LOVES to swing! She cracks up and smiles so big. I took a million pictures of her swinging and this was the best one. This kid always has her tongue out! lol!

Poppa played with Lakyn the whole time. She slid, swang and played in the sand. He spends so much one on one time with my kids and I'm so thankful. I seriously don't know what I would do without him. He helps me so much around the house and with the kids. He makes a point to come by and see them daily and even loads them up and takes them with him to give me a break. It's very nice to have such loving and involved Grandparents. You can never have too many people to love your kids. I can't anyways ;)

I LOVE this picture! Our sweet nephew is so handsome! He's a pretty special little guy too. Josh's parents have him about 75% of the time which is great because we get to see him ALOT. Harleigh and Trey are so close to their cousin and they love him so much! Everytime they see their Nan they look in the backseat to see if he's there. The times he isn't, which is pretty rare, they get SO upset. Seriously, it's a cry-fest! They act like they are never going to see him again! lol! Poor babies would spend every minute with their cousin if they could! I'm excited for Josh's parents to move by us so they can spend even more time together!

I see a lot more park days in the future for the cousins! We plan on having a very fun filled summer! I can't wait!

Holidays 2010

I'm baaaaack! ha! I have been trying to decide if I should update starting now, or back track and pick up where I left off in DECEMBER, ugh! Well, I decided to pick up where I left off, you know, for memories sake ;)

We had a really great Christmas this year. Oue kids are so blessed, they get to celebrate with my Mom's extended family, my immediate family on my Mom's side, my Dad's side, and with Josh's family. They think every day in December is Christmas, ha! This is a picture of them and their cousins on Josh's side. I lost my camera so Josh got me a new one for Christmas. Needless to say, my picture collection from our Holiday festivities is pretty poor.

This year, we celebrated New Year's at our home with some close friends and their kids. My how things change after children ;) We had some brand new puppies and the kids had so much fun playing with them. I think we have had 2 litters since then. Lord, help me!

Lakyn was a perfect angel, of course, and slept in her swing the entire evening.

The kiddos danced the night away as Mr. Donnie sang and played for them. Harleigh thinks he sounds just like The Zach Brown Band ;)

Cousins

Harleigh and Trey have had so much fun this summer with their cousin, Anna! We have spent a lot of time together swimming and playing. On Sunday, we went to the Circus and the kids had a blast! These sweet cousins get along so well. Anna loves to hold Harleigh's hand and give Trey big kisses right on the mouth! Harleigh and Trey always fight over who will get to sit by Anna, and Harleigh insists on trying to carry her everywhere. I have so many childhood memories with my cousins and I am so glad that my kids will be able to say the same!

Spring Break 2010

We had a really fun Spring Break! The kids had no Mother's Day Out, Dance, or T-ball, so we had the entire week to do whatever we wanted! The weather didn't cooperate at the beginning of the week, but by Wednesday it was beautiful and perfect for a day at the Beach! So we went and picked up Mimi and met Leigh, Gigi, Landon, and Madeline in Galveston. We packed a lunch and Gigi bought everyone a bucket and shovel. It was so nice to enjoy some Vitamin D. I feel like we have been cooped up all winter!





After the beach, Mimi, Harleigh, Trey and I headed to Kemah! We ate some Joe's crabshack and spent the night at The Boardwalk Inn. On Thursday the kids rode a million rides and played in the water fountain. It was so much fun being near the water for two days!
