Cattle Women's Luncheon

Every year My Aunt Bridget is in charge of the Fashion Show at The Cattlewomen's Luncheon in Houston. My cousin, Ashley models for her every year and she always tries to get my Mom and I to model. This year we finally gave in and it was so fun!

My Aunt does such an awesome job putting all of the outfits together and speaking at the event. She is such a natural! I love seeing her do what she loves! Being a Cowgirl Fashionista!

My Mom and her two sisters, Bridget and Cheryl. They are so beautiful! I am blessed to be surrounded by strong beautiful women!

Mimi rocked the stage in this beautiful jacket!

This is the dress my Aunt picked for me to wear and I fell in love with it! She went to the boutique that next week and picked it up for me. Modeling was a lot of fun, and I will definitely do it again. So glad us ladies get together to do fun stuff like this!

Mother/ Daughter Day!

I spent Saturday with five of my favorite people! My Mom, Aunts, and cousins! My Mom has two sisters, and all three sisters have one daughter. We grew up pretty close, but now, Morgan lives in California because her husband is in the Navy. She was here for the summer, so we planned a Mother/ Daughter Day at Old Town Spring! The weather was perfect, and so was the company! We shopped, ate, shopped and ate some more! ha! We had such an awesome time and I wish we could do this more often.

All of us together... My Mom, Aunt Bridget, Aunt Cheryl, Me, Ashley, & Morgan. Notice a resemblance?

My Mom and her gorgeous sisters! Look just like their Momma! :)

My Mom and I

Morgan & Cheryl, I just LOVE this picture, they are so beautiful inside and out!

Aunt Bridget and Leigh are two of the funnest, prettiest women I know!

We had so much fun and got a lot of cute boutique stuff! The only thing that could have made the day any better is if Our Mimi had been there. But she was in our hearts and we talked and laughed about her the entire day! Love you girls, and can't wait for our next get- together!

Tick Tock!

I swear I can hear a clock ticking in the background as I go through my day! It's just a matter of days until Harleigh starts Kindergarten! Trey is also going back to Mother's Day Out! And of course, our baby girl will be here in 3 weeks!

I am such a list person, I keep a spiral notebook with me at all times and I am always making lists. I have a list of places I need to go for errands such as bank, post office, feed store. Then, of course there is the Wal-mart list... never ending! I also have a list of things I need to do for work, and now I have added a list of things to do/buy before Lakyn arrives, and things to do/buy before Harleigh starts school! These lists are taking over my life, ha! No really, I couldn't live without my notebook. I have been crossing things off lately and it feels so good!

Yesterday, the kids and I spent the day with my Mom, their Mimi! They were so excited when we got to the mall to meet her. I wish I had taken pictures, but we stayed pretty steady all day and I never thought about it! We also met their Moose, and my cousins Adrian and Krystal for dinner, fun day!

Harleigh's school clothes shopping is finished and we have meet the teacher Friday night. I am really close to being ready for Lakyn, and the things I have left to do are really minor and unneccesary, but I'm just picky! I am really trying to concentrate on enjoying the moment and not thinking so much about what is to come. I tend to rush things, but I'm just SO anxious! :)

The Beginning...

I have always said I would never blog. Just didn't think anyone would be interested. But something has been tugging at me lately... so I'm giving in! I hope you all enjoy keeping up with me and my family. Check back, I'll update regularly on my thoughts and let ya'll know what's happening in "Paradise on The Prairie".
